The Holy Quran

The Quran is a complete and original compilation of the final revelation from Allah to mankind through the last prophet of Islam, Muhammad (ﷺ). The Quran has essentially three qualities that have made it universal and great. Firstly, in its original Arabic form, it is a master-piece of immense literary value fusing the style of presentation with the substance being presented in a blend of unique proportion. Secondly, though its message is a continuation of that contained in the earlier revelations made to prophet Abraham, David, Moses, and Jesus, this message has a sense of fulfillment and originality that attracts to it Jews, Christians and Muslims alike. Finally it has a wealth of information-both worldly wisdom and intellectual conception- which provides the code of life for mankind generally and Muslims in particular. Indeed, the greatness of the Quran lies in its ability to offer at least something to non-believers and everything to believers (Muslim). So it is called the greatest scripture.

পবিত্র কোরআন

পবিত্র কোরআন হলো আল্লাহর সর্বশেষ পূর্ণাঙ্গ ও মৌলিক বাণী সংকলন যা মুহম্মদ (ﷺ)-এর মাধ্যমে মানবজাতির জন্য অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। পবিত্র কোরআনের রয়েছে তিনটি বিশেষ গুণ, যা এটাকে সর্বজনীন ও সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ করেছে। প্রথমত, আরবি ভাষায় এর মূল সংস্করণ অপূর্ব ও অতুলনীয় এক উঁচুস্তরের সাহিত্যকর্ম, যাতে মূর্ত হয়েছে ভাষা ও বাণীর এক অপূর্ব সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ সংমিশ্রণ। দ্বিতীয়ত, যদিও কোরআনের আয়াতসমূহ হযরত ইবরাহীম (আ), হযরত দাউদ (আ), হযরত মুসা (আ) ও হযরত ঈসা (আ) এদের অবতীর্ণ ধর্মগ্রন্থগুলোর বাণীর অনুবর্তন মাত্র; তবুও এর মাঝে প্রতিফলিত হয়েছে এক পূর্ণতা ও বিশুদ্ধতা যা মুসলমান, খ্রিস্টান ও ইহুদীদেরকে সমভাবে আকৃষ্ট করেছে। পরিশেষে, এতে আছে পার্থিব মননশীল জগতের এক অপূর্ব জ্ঞানের সমারোহ, যা বিশ্ববাসীকে বিশেষ করে মুসলমানদেরকে দিয়েছে এক পরিপূর্ণ জীবন বিধান। প্রকৃতপক্ষে কোরআনের শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব এর অলৌকিক শক্তির মাঝেই নিহিত, যার প্রভাব পড়েছে বিশ্বাসী-অবিশ্বাসী সকলের উপর। আর এ কারণেই এটাকে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ গ্রন্থ বলা হয়।

The Holy Quran is the final revelation of Allah to mankind through the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). It is the only complete code of human conduct. It shows the right path to the whole human kind, It is the greatest scripture that ever have. Its greatness lies in its three essential qualities- its style of presentation, its originality and sense of fulfilment and its wealth of information.
