Nature's Tapestry
2.2.1 Let's imagine a nature walk. It's a group work and it can be done beyond the school time. To do that let's follow the steps given below:
i) How did the environment around you make you feel?
Answer: I feel peaceful and relaxed when I spend time in nature, even just for a short while. Taking a walk in nature helps me feel refreshed and gives me a taste of the wild when I need a break.
ii) Did it evoke any specific emotions or memories?
Answer: Living in nature was a lot different from living in the city. My senses were not as sharp, I felt sad, and I was more likely to get sick. I remember the first time I went for a walk with my parents on the river bank.
ⅲ) Were there any moments during the walk when you felt a strong connection to nature? Describe those moments.
Answer: Yes, there were a moment during the walk when I felt a strong connection to nature. Once a doctor told me to walk barefoot on soil and grass in the morning. After doing what he said, I got better because of nature and the Almighty creator of nature. I believe that nature has the power to heal. When I go outside, my whole body feels different right away. I could feel the soft wind on my skin and the path under my feet.
iv) How do you think spending time in nature can influence our well-being and perspective on life?
Answer: Spending time in nature can influence our well-being and perspective on life. Being in nature can make us feel better and change the way we see things in life. Taking a walk in a natural park can help you focus and pay better attention. At times, it helps the mind to think about a problem and approach it in a new way.
Step 5: Finally, share it with other groups.
2.3.1 Read the poem. Before that read the note on the poet.
কবিতাটি পড়ো। পড়ার পূর্বে কবি সম্পর্কে note-টি পড়ো।
Note: Alfred Lord Tennyson (1809-1892) was a renowned British poet. He became famous for writing about love, nature and emotions. Now, let's read one of his famous poems on nature 'Crossing the Bar'.
