The Message of Shuaib- শুয়াইবের বাণী
Shu'aib's (pbuh) life story was revealed by Allah the Almighty:
The brother Shu'aib of the Madyan (Madian) people was sent by us. "O my people!" he exclaimed. You alone have Allah to worship; there is no other Ilah. Verily! You have received a clear indication (sign) from your Lord; as a result, if you are believers, give everything you have to everything you do, respect other people's rights, and refrain from interfering with the natural order of things after it has been established for your benefit. And do not stand on every route, frightening those who follow Allah, obstructing their path, and attempting to slant it away from it. Keep in mind how He multiplied you when you were few. Check out what happened to the Mufsideen, or troublemakers, corrupts, and liars. Be patient until Allah, the Best of Judges, decides between us if there is a group among you that believes in what I have been sent and a group that does not. "We shall certainly drive you out, O Shu'aib, and those who have believed with you from our town, or else you all shall return to our religion," the chiefs of the haughty among his people stated.
শোয়াইব (আঃ) এর জীবন কাহিনী মহান আল্লাহ তায়ালা অবতীর্ণ করেছেন:
মাদইয়ান (মাদিয়ান) সম্প্রদায়ের ভাই শোয়াইব আমাদের দ্বারা প্রেরিত হয়েছিল। "হে আমার সম্প্রদায়!" সে চমকে উঠলো. ইবাদত করার জন্য একমাত্র তোমারই আল্লাহ আছে; অন্য কোন ইলাহ নেই। সত্যই! আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে একটি স্পষ্ট ইঙ্গিত (নিদর্শন) পেয়েছেন; ফলস্বরূপ, আপনি যদি বিশ্বাসী হন, তবে আপনার যা কিছু করার জন্য আপনার যা কিছু আছে তা প্রদান করুন, অন্যান্য মানুষের অধিকারকে সম্মান করুন এবং আপনার সুবিধার জন্য এটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার পরে জিনিসগুলির স্বাভাবিক নিয়মে হস্তক্ষেপ করা থেকে বিরত থাকুন। আর প্রতিটি পথে দাঁড়াবেন না, যারা আল্লাহর অনুসরণ করে তাদের ভয় দেখান, তাদের পথকে বাধাগ্রস্ত করেন এবং তা থেকে দূরে সরে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করেন। আপনি যখন অল্প ছিলেন তখন তিনি কীভাবে আপনাকে বহুগুণ করেছিলেন তা মনে রাখবেন। মুফসিদিন বা ঝামেলা সৃষ্টিকারী, দুর্নীতিবাজ এবং মিথ্যাবাদীদের কী ঘটেছে তা দেখুন। ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর যতক্ষণ না আল্লাহ, সর্বোত্তম বিচারক, আমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করে দেন যদি তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন একটি দল থাকে যারা আমার প্রেরিত বিষয়ের প্রতি ঈমান আনে এবং একটি দল বিশ্বাস করে না। "হে শোয়ায়েব, আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাকে এবং তোমার সাথে যারা ঈমান এনেছে তাদেরকে আমাদের শহর থেকে বের করে দেব, অন্যথায় তোমরা সবাই আমাদের ধর্মে ফিরে যাবে," তার সম্প্রদায়ের অহংকারী নেতারা বলেছিল।
Even though we despise it, he said. If we had stayed in your religion after Allah had delivered us from it, we ought to have made up a lie against Him. We cannot go back there unless Allah, our Lord, so desires. Our Lord understands everything in His wisdom. We placed our faith in Allah (Alone). Dear God! You are the Best Among Those Who Pass Judgments, so pass judgment between us and our people in all sincerity.
যদিও আমরা এটাকে ঘৃণা করি, তিনি ড. আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে তা থেকে মুক্তি দেওয়ার পরও যদি আমরা আপনার দ্বীনে থাকতাম, তাহলে আমাদের উচিত ছিল তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যারোপ করা। আমাদের প্রভু আল্লাহ না চাইলে আমরা সেখানে ফিরে যেতে পারব না। আমাদের প্রভু তাঁর জ্ঞানে সবকিছু বোঝেন। আমরা আল্লাহর (একা) উপর আমাদের বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। প্রিয় ঈশ্বর! আপনি তাদের মধ্যে সেরা যারা রায় দেয়, তাই আমাদের এবং আমাদের লোকদের মধ্যে সমস্ত আন্তরিকতার সাথে রায় দিন।
The leaders of the unbelievers in his tribe warned their followers: "If you follow Shu'aib, you will definitely lose!"
তার গোত্রের অবিশ্বাসীদের নেতারা তাদের অনুসারীদের সতর্ক করে দিয়েছিল: "যদি তোমরা শুয়াইবকে অনুসরণ কর, তবে অবশ্যই হেরে যাবে!"
Shu'aib then turned away from them and cried out, "O my people! You have received the messages from my Lord, and I have given you wise counsel. How therefore can I feel sad for the demise of the unbelievers? (Quran 7:85–93)
তখন শোয়াইব তাদের কাছ থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিল এবং চিৎকার করে বলল, "হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আমার প্রভুর কাছ থেকে বার্তা পেয়েছ এবং আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রজ্ঞাপূর্ণ পরামর্শ দিয়েছি। তাহলে আমি কিভাবে কাফেরদের মৃত্যুতে দুঃখিত হতে পারি? (কুরআন ৭) :85-93)
Arabs known as the Madyans dwelt in the Ma'an nation, which is now a large portion of Syria. They were a selfish race that lived immoral lives and denied the existence of Allah. They were unkind, exaggerated the value of their wares, and concealed their flaws. They deceived their clients by lying to them.
মাদিয়ান নামে পরিচিত আরবরা মাআন জাতিতে বাস করত, যা এখন সিরিয়ার একটি বড় অংশ। তারা ছিল একটি স্বার্থপর জাতি যারা অনৈতিক জীবনযাপন করত এবং আল্লাহর অস্তিত্বকে অস্বীকার করত। তারা নির্দয় ছিল, তাদের জিনিসপত্রের মূল্য অতিরঞ্জিত করেছিল এবং তাদের ত্রুটিগুলি গোপন করেছিল। তারা তাদের গ্রাহকদের মিথ্যা কথা বলে প্রতারিত করেছে।
Allah sent Shu'aib (pbuh), His Prophet, armed with several marvels. They insulted Shu'aib despite his pleas for them to remember Allah's favors and his warnings about the repercussions of their sinful behavior. Reminding them of their kindred and the fact that he was not acting for his own benefit, Shu'aib kept his composure.
আল্লাহ তাঁর নবী শুয়াইব (আঃ) কে পাঠিয়েছিলেন বেশ কিছু বিস্ময় নিয়ে সজ্জিত। আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ এবং তাদের পাপপূর্ণ আচরণের পরিণতি সম্পর্কে তাঁর সতর্কবাণী স্মরণ করার জন্য তাঁর অনুরোধ সত্ত্বেও তারা শোয়াইবকে অপমান করেছিল। তাদের আত্মীয়স্বজনদের কথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দিয়ে এবং যে তিনি নিজের সুবিধার জন্য কাজ করেননি, শোয়াইব তার সংযম বজায় রেখেছিলেন।
They expelled Shu'aib and his companions from the city after seizing their possessions. The envoy asked for assistance from his Lord, and his request was granted. They suffered greatly as a result of the intense heat that Allah brought down upon them. They hurried outside in anticipation of the rain when they noticed a cloud developing in the sky because they believed it would bring cold, soothing rain. Instead, the cloud exploded, shooting fire and lightning. The ground beneath them shook when they heard a tremendous boom from above. In this horrible state, the evildoers died.

According to Allah the Exalted:
"The inhabitants of Al Aiyka (a town close to Midian or Madyan) disbelieved the Messengers. Will you not fear Allah and obey Him, Shu'aib commanded. To you, I am a reliable Messenger. Therefore, respect Allah, do as He commands, and obey me. I don't expect anything in return for it (my message of Islamic monotheism); the only source of my reward is the Lord of the Alamin, who created humans, jinn, and everything else. Give fully without causing harm to others. And weigh using a straight, accurate balance. Avoid defrauding people by taking away their possessions, as well as causing evil, corruption, and trouble in the land. Fear both the ancient men who came before you and Him who made you. You're just one of those bewitched, they remarked. You are just a regular person like us, and we do believe you to be a liar. So if you are telling the truth, make a little of paradise fall on us.
মহান আল্লাহর মতে:

The speaker declared: "My Lord is the Best Knower of What You Do."

However, they betrayed him, which caused them to experience the anguish of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud), which was, in fact, the torment of a Great Day. Undoubtedly, this is a sign, yet the majority of them do not believe. And undoubtedly, your Lord is the Most Merciful and All-Powerful. (Qur'an, Ch. 26:176–191).
